Because we don’t use chemical preservatives or synthetic additives, environmental temperature and humidity can affect the consistency (stickiness) of our saltwater taffy. It might be a little sticky, but we feel that you’ll agree that the flavor is exceptional. We recommend not only keeping our taffy in a cool, dry location but to eat it within a month of purchase.
Do not give candy to young children without adult supervision.
Do not use it for any other purpose for which it was intended.
If you share or give it as a gift, please make sure that anyone eating our product is not allergic to any of its ingredients.
We recommend keeping any unused, unconsumed product in a cool, dry place to lengthen its shelf-life. Some people like to refrigerate, some like to freeze, while others don’t allow them to “stick” around for long. If you refrigerate or freeze your taffy, give it a chance to thaw out before you take a bite to avoid any dental issues. If your taffy is sticking to the wrapping paper, try refrigerating the product for a few hours to see if it comes free from the wrapper easily.
Avoid leaving your candy in hot locations like near a stove or in your car during the summer to prevent it from melting. Definitely don’t leave it in your pant pockets and then send it through the laundry.
Any type of sticky or hard foods can cause damage to fillings, crowns, and existing dental work and is not good for your teeth…. Brush, floss, use mouthwash, and see your dentist regularly. Take small bites to help prevent any issues to existing dental work.
